Q. What are V, VE and GF?
V is for vegetarian, and contains no animal flesh but may contain diary produce or eggs, for example. VE represents food that is suitable for vegan diets as it contains no animal produce, including honey. GF represents food that is without gluten when this would often be present (e.g. in cakes). We have a wide selection of items that also include vegan and gluten-free options, so please do check. We do prepare all our food in a kitchen that handles a wide range of food, and although we take upmost care to avoid cross-contamination, we unfortunately cannot guarantee it.
Q. Are you still doing essential supply deliveries, now that you're open for takeaway?
A. Yes, absolutely. As demand reduced once lock-down restrictions were eased, we've reduced the current delivery days to Wednesdays and Fridays for the time being, but we'll continue to do these as longer as you need them. In addition, if we can build additional sales through delivery, we will add further delivery days to our schedule.
Q. Do I have to order through your online store, or can I pop in and place an order?
A. We established this site to expand our offerings online, and to also help customers pre-book both takeaway/collection, and delivery orders. This helps us accommodate demand more easily, and also enables you to reserve items that might otherwise not be available. We also hope you'll enjoy the new site and ease of use, and find our product range exciting and inspiring.
Q. Is it better to collect or do takeaway, or request delivery?
A. Please select the method that suits you best, but if you have no preference, the longer time you can give us before your order, the better. Collection is also the easiest for us, as it enables us to plan out our week, and add more choice to the menu as we can bulk together preparation and cooking of items.
Let us know your additional feedback and queries, and we will build out our FAQ page.
