Lemana Coffee and Kitchen is proud to announce that we are supporting and fundraising for UK Coffee Week in partnership with Project Waterfall.
What is UK Coffee Week?
UK Coffee Week is a week long celebration of coffee which aims to raise funds for Project Waterfall – a charity delivering clean water, sanitation and education to coffee growing communities across the world.
Between the 29th of April and the 5th of May, thousands of coffee businesses like ours will be fundraising in different ways.
During the week we can all make our cups matter for Project Waterfall by buying, donating and sharing! This is the message behind the hashtag #mycupmatters
So why Project Waterfall?
844 million people around the world can't access clean water. The majority live in isolated, rural areas, the same areas growing our coffee.
100% of the funds raised during UK Coffee Week will go to Project Waterfall's ongoing work to bring clean drinking water and sanitation to over 10,000 people in the rural Jabi Tehnan district of Ethiopia.
